Job Overview:
American Pacific operates a chemical manufacturing facility based on a highly technical electrochemical process. The Electrical Engineer we are seeking will own the entirety of the plant’s high voltage power distribution system and low voltage process control systems. The engineer will report to the plant’s engineering leader, and the position will have direct reports consisting of the operations technology team. Additionally, the engineer will work closely with the plant’s team of maintenance electricians and production operators for continuous improvement initiatives and education. The position requires a continually questioning approach to improve operational effectiveness and consumption efficiency. The company is currently expanding production capacity with significant additions to the electrical infrastructure. The engineer will oversee this expansion work, its effective implementation, and will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical systems and equipment.
